They Spoke At The Bi-centenary Anniversary Of The Treaty Ending The Kiriji War On September 23, 1816. It Was Held At The International Conference Centre, University Of Ibadan.

Major Towns And Communities Had Reached An Accord To End The Kiriji War, The Longest Civil War Among A Nationality On September 23, 1816. The Treaty Was Aimed At Fostering Unity And Peace Among All Yoruba.

At The Event, Weekend, Famous Historians – Professors Banji Akintoye, Olutayo Adesina And Ms Bamidele Olateju, Painted The Picture Of The Rich History Of The Yoruba, How The Nationality Stands At Present And How It Can Become A Major Player In The Globalized World In The Future.

The Programme, Which Was Organized By The Yoruba Academy And The Afenifere Renewal Group, ARG Attracted Yoruba Leaders Of Thought, Governors, Academics, Pressure Groups, Politicians And The Ordinary Folk.
